The longest running motoring event at Chester Lakes – Since 2019!
Owing to some issues that have arisen regarding catering and the availability of parking, sadly I have made the decision to discontinue this meeting.
I originally started the meetings back in 2019 to help out with footfall for the catering on site. However, since then, whilst it has been well supported by the classic car community, particularly during COVID, things have moved on again and consequently the time seems right to call it a day on the meetings from my perspective.
Therefore the Facebook page and the website will be shut down this week, but in the meantime, I’d like to thank all our supporters who came along each month, and who all acted in a responsible manner making the running of this event an absolute pleasure!
I’d also like to thank Roy Baird, now retired from the site, but familiar to many of you, who originally helped out with the events and provided numerous cups of coffee of the years! Thanks also to the team at Chester Lakes that have provided the space to allow a monthly meeting, especially during COVID, and to the various encumbents that ran the cafe and provided the much needed refreshments.
If you could let people know that the events will now not go ahead that would be appreciated although I am sure the site will welcome visitors at any time at the Kingfisher Lakeside Bar at Chester Lakes Official.
I am sure I will still see you all at various events locally and again, a huge thank you to all.
